David Ybarra founded Daeida Magazine at 30
years of age in 2006. A Pushcart Prize
-nominated poet and regular contributor to
various entertainment magazines in the U.S.
and the U.K., David completed his B.A. in English
and started his M.A. in the Professional Writing
Program at Portland State University (Oregon)
before embarking on his masters thesis that
would relocate him to Hollywood where he
continues to write and work. In addition to his
duties as publisher and senior editor of Daeida
Magazine, David is also at work on his first book.

merchandise and in countless publications
around the world. He makes his home in
