David Nick Ybarra is the publisher and senior editor of Daeida Magazine.  
Founded in 2006 at the age of 30, previously, he contributed  freelance
pieces under his own name and under the pen name “Nick Gentry” for a
variety of entertainment-based publications in the U.S. and in the U.K.   A
Pushcart Prize-nominated poet
(1999) noted for his anthologized work,
“Ode To Bobbie Gentry,” Ybarra’s critical literary studies and essays have
been featured in books “Critical Mappings of Arturo Islas’s Fictions”
(Bilingual Press, 2008) and the “West Wind Review” (SOU University Press, 1999).
In addition to his editorial duties, Ybarra is a familiar scribe of liner notes
Gor Megaera is the resident photographer for Daeida Magazine. He has
photographed every cover girl (and guy) for Daeida Magazine, as well as
the majority of the interior feature stories since 2008.  A self-taught image-
maker, he has photographed CDs by Petula Clark and Lindsay Wagner, as
well as provided the author photo for the New York Times best-selling non-
fiction memoir, “Confessions of a Prairie Bitch,” by Alison Arngrim (It Books,
2010). A Taurian born under the Chinese zodiac sign of the Boar, Megaera
enjoys listening to Electronica and Trance music as he works, cycling on
the rare free afternoon, and a strong mixed drink on the often-long
Hollywood nights he works until morning.
