David Ybarra founded Daeida Magazine at 30
years of age in 2006. A Pushcart Prize -nominated
poet and regular contributor to various
entertainment magazines in the U.S. and the U.K.,
David completed his B.A. in English and started his
M.A. in the Professional Writing Program at
Portland State University (Oregon) before
embarking on his masters thesis that would
relocate him to Hollywood where he continues to
write and work. In addition to his duties as
publisher and senior editor of Daeida Magazine,
David is also at work on his first book.

Gor Megaera is the cover and feature
photographer of Daeida Magazine. A gifted
artist, he first picked up the camera at age 35 and
has since been photographing the most beautiful
women in the entertainment world and the most
fascinating men of Arts and Letters. In addition to
his photography and duties as art director of
Daeida Magazine, his images have been featured
on various CD covers, music/tour merchandise
and in countless publications around the world.
He makes his home in Hollywood.
